Each year the Duke University Motorsports team participates in a competition where they create a racing car from scratch. They work on every part of the car, constantly improving and testing each piece. The aim is to bring the completed car to a competition at the Michigan International Speedway. At the event, the car is evaluated for safety, performance, and how well it could make money, following industry standards.
